Update on Worship Arts Search Process
For those of you who were not in the Worship Gathering on March 18th, here is an update that was shared by Christian regarding the Director of Worship Arts search process.
A quick update regarding our Worship Arts Director search. After pouring over very quality applications and sample videos, the advisory team lined up two video interviews with potential applicants. After those interviews, one applicant rose to the top of our list as a potential fit for Living Hope. A subset of the team traveled and met with this applicant and his family as they only live 4 hours from here. That meeting went great! We will be bringing the family up for a few days to spend some time with church leadership to take a look at chemistry and fit while giving them the opportunity to meet us. We will keep you updated on that visit that will hopefully happen in April.
In the meantime, we would ask that you be in prayer for us as we discern God’s will together for this position. And that you would be in prayer for our potential candidate as they consider fit from their perspective.
Also, many of you have asked “If we hire someone, what happens to Christian?” I want to go on record as saying that I am really excited about this potential hire. I am excited to see how God provides for us. I am also excited to be freed up to focus more on some other areas of ministry here at Living Hope--specifically teaching and discipleship. We are still working out exactly what this new role will look like, but we are excited about moving forward. So you can be in prayer for that as well.
